About Me
I am a mechanical engineer and designer that currently works in the automotive industry. I have a Bachelors in Science in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University (with a concentration in Art and Architecture) and have a strong background in structural analysis.

I love the hands on nature of engineering. I have always been excited by the idea that engineering can demystify the technology we use every day. This has pushed me to be a creative and curious engineer who excels at coming up with new and simple solutions to current problems.

However, my true passion lies in Human Centered Design. I have four years of experience in leading design thinking projects, all of which included partnering closely with community members and experts.

My goal is to use both of my skill sets and backgrounds to solve everyday problems. I strive to be a designer that doesn't just design for designers, but for real people.
I believe that good design can truly improve our policies, laws, transportation, and assist in creating a better world.

I am passionate about diversity and inclusion! At work I have led a number of initiatives that have helped increase the awareness of Diversity and Inclusion activities across our campus. I have also implemented a number of changes to the Women's Diversity Group communication channels. The result has been a 50% increase to our membership as well as a significant improvement in response rates to surveys and questionnaires.
